Artwork Size: 11×14, Medium: Oil, Location Depicted in Artwork: AR & OK, Artist Statement: My love of these iconic little animal water bottles from 1000 years ago, began when I studied archaeology at the U of A. On the art path, I use objects in my still lifes that resonate with the work and care of ancient hands. The ginger jar was my Grandfather?s, the lace table cover was done by my Grandmother, the persimmons are from our yard; echoes from the past within us.
