We are thrilled to announce the 2013 Illinois River Salon sponsored by the Illinois River Watershed Partnership of Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma and the Windgate Foundation!
This is an exciting new partnership for us that helps us promote this beautiful region of Arkansas and Oklahoma through art. This is not a plein air event as we’ve done before. Any two-dimensional artwork will be eligible, plein air or not.
One important thing to remember: This is a juried event, and it will be assumed that artists submitting entries have gathered reference or plein air of the Illinois River Watershed region currently or in the past. You are required to provide the relative location represented in your submitted paintings. A map of the watershed area can be accessed HERE.
