Artwork Size: 9×12, Medium: Oil, Location Depicted in Artwork: Tontitown, AR, Artist Statement: Each year Tontitown, Arkansas hosts their annual Grape Festival. A friend, a fellow artist and I were fortunate to visit Tontitown during the festival and even though it rained, I was able to paint this outdoors at the carnival. The festival was first established around 1898 when the area was first settled by Italian immigrants, including the Father Giovanni Battista Bariola family.
