Description
Artwork Size: 30×24, Medium: Oil, Location Depicted in Artwork: Durham, OK, Artist Statement: I was born in Oklahoma and have spent many years there. I graduated high school, and built my first home there. During my school years, I would attend the NAWA exhibition where I saw famous artists in the round. The state capitol collection includes six of my pieces today. I’ve visited the western side of the state often, especially the preserves abounding in herds of buffalo, and elk. It always struck me as the least affected by civilization. I felt the little trailer contributes to the windy isolation of this unspoiled area.
